These two acclaimed, highly practical, evidence-based workshops will underpin your clinical practice with both adult and adolescent trauma clients. This four-day trauma education is intended for all mental health professionals globally. Offered in three modes: an engaging self-paced online program over three months, two highly interactive two-day livestreams, or, live across Australia and New Zealand over four consecutive days. We have aimed to ensure that the quality of training for our three modes of delivery is equivalent and you will find more convenience, flexibility and savings in cost with our two online modes when you consider travel and accommodation costs.
When you register to our online modes, you have access to both modes as part of your fee (summary of Day 1-4 online fees and inclusions). Some clinicians prefer to learn in their own time and others prefer dynamic learning in a group of their peers and we want you to have both options because you might not know your preferred mode until you commence.
Some clinicians will start the self-paced online program and complete it via livestream whilst others will be quite satisfied completing the program entirely self-paced. Others will always prefer learning in a group and only revisit parts of the self-paced online program after the livestream in order to consolidate learning. Our self-paced online
program can be commenced in February, April, July, October or November which coincides
with a livestream that you can participate in during March, May, June,
September and November. There are always 13 annual online offerings of Day 1-4, Day 1-2 or Day 3-4 that you can join. Start planning to join one now for your professional development activity this year.
In addition to our quarterly Australian livestreams, we offer an annual livestream for New Zealand, Southeast Asia, USA and UK/Europe time zones. The offerings on these pages are always current and replace other dates published elsewhere. Our live capital city offerings are delivered over four consecutive days and you cannot register for Day 1-2 or Day 3-4 separately. You must be able to attend four consecutive days in order to register in a capital city.
Please note that for all three modes, you are required to complete Treating PTSD (Day 1-2) before Treating Complex Trauma (Day 3-4) as essential material is covered in the first workshop and not repeated in the second. The programs work together and while you may choose to do the first but not the second, they don't work the other way around.
